Soldiers In Training Eager To Go To Afghanistan

"This isn't a peacekeeping mission," said Corporal Michael Taylor, a 23-year-old military policeman from North Bay, Ont. But is he looking forward to it? "Absolutely." Quoted from today's Globe & Mail. Despite Cpl. Taylor's Mother threatening to call General Hillier to get her son reassigned he as well as the other 1200 troops see it as an opportunity and are excited because as one quotes, "it is not boring". They are being presently trained at CFB Petewawa to handle suicide attacks and the like for their upcoming reassignment to Afghanistan.
