PM Preparing To Dump Ethics Commissioner

CTV reports that Ed Broadbent confirms that the Conservatives discussed his replacing existing Ethics Commissioner Bernard Shapiro who is anticipated to be fired by the Conservative Government. This comes on the heels of Shapiro's saying he would investigate whether Harper breached the parliamentary ethical code for MPs by appointing David Emerson to his cabinet two weeks after Emerson won his B.C. riding as Liberal.
